Schedule: 12:30 pm-4:40 pm
First Day of School: August 31, 2026
Class size: Approximately 20-24 students. Overview: The 7th Grade Science Teacher will join a team and be part an exciting expansion of innovative STEM programming! This person will help shape the next generation of problem-solvers, engineers, and creative thinkers. The ideal candidate will create engaging, hands-on lessons that foster scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and a love of learning while aligning with curriculum standards, and will help cultivate a positive, supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity, responsibility, and academic growth. - Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with curriculum standards.
- Foster a positive, nurturing, and productive classroom environment.
- Assess student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student growth and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and administration to support student success.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Participate in school events, faculty meetings, and professional development opportunities.
- Strong classroom management, collaboration with colleagues, and the ability to integrate technology into instruction are essential.
- Experience in a Jewish day school or an appreciation for Jewish values and education is preferred.
- Master's degree
- Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to fostering academic, social, and emotional growth in students.
