Position Overview

S.R.T. Joints and Reflexes Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and qualified Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our expanding team in Chantilly, Virginia. This full-time role is pivotal in restoring mobility and enhancing the overall well-being of our patients. As a Physical Therapist in our state-of-the-art facility, you will utilize your clinical expertise to develop personalized treatment plans that promote optimal patient outcomes.

About the Organization

Located in the vibrant community of Chantilly, S.R.T. Joints and Reflexes Therapy offers a dynamic environment focused on evidence-based patient care. Our facility spans 5,000 square feet and features advanced equipment dedicated to sports medicine and rehabilitation. Our committed team includes two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all focused on providing exceptional care to our clients, primarily those with private medical insurance.

Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite within our outpatient office, where a collaborative atmosphere fosters positive therapeutic outcomes. You will work Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, engaging directly with patients in a supportive and encouraging setting that emphasizes their progress and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and recognize the specific objectives and needs of each patient.
• Maintain a productive patient load of one individual per hour to ensure focused and high-quality care.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans incorporating various therapeutic techniques tailored to individual patient goals.
• Administer effective, cost-efficient therapies to enhance patients' range of motion, strength, and overall mobility.
• Implement non-invasive alternatives to surgery, minimizing reliance on medication through education and lifestyle modifications.
• Design and oversee customized fitness and wellness programs that align with each patient's unique recovery journey.
• Monitor patient progress and outcomes, maintaining accurate documentation of treatment services provided.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their treatment, fostering a positive recovery environment and promoting adherence to prescribed therapies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will principally involve working with patients recovering from orthopedic issues, sports injuries, and post-surgical recovery. Our facility is committed to helping clients from diverse backgrounds achieve improved mobility and function, ultimately reducing pain and enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia, with no history of disciplinary action on the license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, is required.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to develop individualized treatment plans and exercise protocols based on evidence and patient needs.
• Ability to implement holistic approaches that encompass physical therapy, exercise science, and wellness principles.

Compensation and Benefits
