General Warehouse Temp Labor

Our client, a leading distribution and warehousing organization, is seeking dedicated and motivated General Warehouse Workers to join their dynamic team. As a vital member of the warehouse operations, you will support various functions including product vetting, monitoring product flow, and ensuring the safety and organization of the work environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, strong organizational skills, and a safety-conscious mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: General Warehouse Worker - Temp Labor 

Location: Maquoketa, IA

Pay Range: $18.50-19.25

Shift: Day and Night shifts available

What's the Job?

• Monitor and ensure the smooth operation of the product on the conveyor system, identifying and addressing issues promptly.
• Ensures the work areas are properly supplied for the next shift in order to minimize downtime.
• Pick products to be placed in totes for shipping, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, performing housekeeping duties throughout the shift.
• Remove damaged merchandise and break down master cases in accordance with company procedures.
• Breaks down master cases in FDS pack and loads cardboard in required time frame.
• Flips cases so that the barcode is showing properly before being scanned
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maximize personal and team safety, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards.
• All other duties as assigned.

What's Needed?

• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.
• Physical fitness to meet the demands of walking, standing, lifting, and moderate climbing.
• Effective communication skills to interact with co-workers and management.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure high-quality work and safety compliance.
