Job Title: Estimator Location: Saugerties, NY Employment Type: Permanent/Direct Hire Industry: Semiconductor Manufacturing Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 Schedule: Monday-Friday, Full-Time

About the Opportunity: The Estimator is responsible for developing accurate and competitive cost estimates for the production of products and services offered by our company. This role works cross-functionally with sales, applications, engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing to translate technical requirements into detailed cost models and customer quotations.

What You'll Do:

• Experience estimating or quoting within semiconductor equipment manufacturing, advanced manufacturing, or other highly engineered equipment environments.
• Experience with gas delivery, molecule delivery, process equipment, UHP systems, or similar complex equipment highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience developing complex equipment cost estimates and customer quotations
• Ability to communicate effectively with Sales, Engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality and project management
• Strong understanding of the distinctions between cost, price, and margin
• Experience working within engineering or program / project management environment is highly desirable
• Ability to obtain and evaluate supplier / subcontractor quotations
• Ability to identify missing scope, inconsistencies and potential cost risks before quote submission
• Strong understanding of ETO, NPI and customer specific engineered products preferred
• Ability to develop estimates from:
  • Engineering drawings
  • BOMs
  • P&IDs
  • Customer specifications
  • Statements of work
  • Technical requirements

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2-3+ years of estimator experience required

What Sets You Apart:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• Prior semiconductor, high vacuum, and high purity work experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and mathematics skills.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Knowledge of Encompix/MRP/ERP system.

Additional Information:

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs.
