Registered Nurse - Psych Specialty

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with night shifts scheduled from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a behavioral health setting. The role involves recognizing mental health as an illness and caring for patients with various psychological issues, including detox, depression, and psychosis.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care to individuals aged 18-99 in a 24-bed unit.
• Work collaboratively across all three units and provide support as needed.
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4 while ensuring quality care and safety.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.
• Participate in CPI training within the first 30 days of employment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.
• Current CPR certification is necessary.
• Previous experience in psych or detox settings is preferred.
