RoleSummary HHICorporationisseekinganexperiencedConstructionProjectManagertoleadthesuccessfulexecutionofconstructionprojectsfromplanningthroughcompletion.Thisroleisresponsibleforcoordinatingprojectstaff,fieldoperations,subcontractors,vendors,scheduling,costmanagement,documentation,andclientcommunication.TheProjectManagerwillworkcloselywithfieldsupervisionandcorporateleadershiptoensureprojectsarecompletedsafely,onschedule,withinbudget,andinaccordancewithcontractrequirementsandHHIstandards. MainDutiesandResponsibilities ProjectLeadership&Operations Leadprojectstaffandcoordinateresourcesthroughouttheprojectlifecycle. Organizeandoverseeprojectandjobsiteadministration. Coordinatefieldsupervisionandsupporteffectiveday-to-dayprojectoperations. Coordinateon-siteactivitieswiththecorporateofficeandotherHHIdepartments. Managethedirectlaborworkforceandmaintainpositivelaborrelations. Identify,evaluate,andresolveprojectchangesandissuesinatimelymanner. Scheduling&ProjectCoordination Develop,monitor,update,andcommunicateprojectschedulesandperiodicrevisions. Managesubcontractorschedulesandcoordinateworkbetweentradestomaintainprojectprogress. Coordinatecostandprogresstargetswithprojectproduction. Establishandmaintainproceduresforthesubmittal,review,coordination,approval,anddistributionofshopdrawings,samples,andotherprojectdocumentation. Maintaincomprehensiveprojectengineeringfiles,includingsubcontractandbidpackagerecords,plans,specifications,changes,clarifications,andas-builtdocumentation. Subcontractor&VendorManagement Assistwiththeprocurementandselectionofsubcontractorsandsuppliers. Managesubcontractorperformance,includingscheduling,qualityofwork,coordinationwithothertrades,andpaymentprocesses. Reviewvendorschedulesofvaluesandpreparetheproject’soverallscheduleofvalues. Expeditevendorestimatesandproposalsandprepareappropriatecompanyestimatesandproposals. Evaluatesubcontractorpaymentrequisitionsagainstactualworkcompleted. Financial&ContractAdministration Prepareandsubmitproject-relatedinvoices. Managetheperiodicrequisitionprocess,includingreview,submission,andpayment. Monitorprojectcostsandprogresstosupportaccuratefinancialreportingandprojectperformance. Coordinatewithprojectstaff,vendors,subcontractors,andcorporatepersonneltoaddressfinancialandcontractualrequirements. Safety,Quality&Compliance Establishandmaintainasafe,secure,andprofessionaljobsiteenvironment. Supportcompliancewithprojectspecifications,contractrequirements,applicableregulations,andHHIpoliciesandprocedures. Promotequalityworkmanshipandeffectivecoordinationamongallprojecttradesandpersonnel. Client&StakeholderRelationships EstablishandmaintainprofessionalrelationshipswithOwners,designprofessionals,buildingofficials,localbusinesses,andpoliceandfiredepartmentsasrequired. Communicateclearlyandprofessionallywithgovernmentandnon-governmentpersonnel. Maintaineffectivecommunicationwithsubcontractors,suppliers,onsitestaff,ProjectManagers,Superintendents,corporateleadership,andCorporateSafety. KeyWorkingRelationships TheProjectManagermustbeabletocommunicateclearly,professionally,andrespectfullywithawiderangeofinternalandexternalstakeholders.Thisincludesgovernmentrepresentatives,Owners,designprofessionals,subcontractors,suppliers,fieldpersonnel,ProjectManagers,Superintendents,corporateleadership,andCorporateSafety. Thesuccessfulcandidatewillbeabletocoordinatemultipletradesandconstructiondisciplineswhilemaintainingaprofessional,collaborative,andquality-focusedjobsiteenvironment.Strongwritten,verbal,organizational,andinterpersonalcommunicationskillsareessential. RequiredQualifications Bachelor’sorMaster’sdegreeinPhysics,ConstructionManagement,Engineering,orArchitecture. Minimumof5yearsofexperienceinaQCMorProjectManagerrolesupportingfederalorstateconstructionprojects,includingexperiencewithagenciessuchasUSACE,NAVFAC,DOT,DOD,orVA. Experiencewithconstructionprojectmanagementand/orestimating. Excellentwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills. ProficiencyinMicrosoftExcel;askillsassessmentmaybeadministered. ProficiencywithBluebeam. Strongabilitytoreadandinterpretconstructionplansandspecifications. Excellentorganizationalandtime-managementskills. Stronginterpersonalandrelationship-buildingskills. Abilitytomeetapplicablegovernmentsecurityandsite-accessrequirements. Mustsuccessfullycompleteapre-employmentdrugscreen,ifhired. Validdriver’slicenseandadrivingrecordthatmeetscompanyinsurancerequirements. Abilitytoliftandcarryupto50poundsasneeded. PreferredQualifications Experiencemanagingfederalgovernment,commercial,orindustrialconstructionprojects. Experiencewithfederalconstructionrequirementsand/orU.S.ArmyCorpsofEngineersprojects. LEEDtrainingorU.S.ArmyCorpsofEngineerstraining. ExperiencewithSageProjectManagement. ExperiencewithAutoCAD.
