Position Overview
We are seeking a versatile, hands-on Content Producer to plan, shoot, and edit high-quality photo and video assets for web, print, advertising, and social media. Focusing primarily on food, culinary, and consumer packaged goods (CPG), this role owns the entire production process from lighting and styling to post-production and final delivery across multiple formats and aspect ratios.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Production: Plan, shoot, and edit professional food, product, and lifestyle photography and video (ranging from 30-second social hits to 8-minute instructional videos).
- Post-Production & Audio: Execute professional color grading, photo retouching, compositing, and nonlinear video editing. Capture clean audio and perform cleanup, leveling, and synchronization.
- Food Styling & Set Design: Independently style food and CPG products for camera readiness. Build and dress tabletop studio sets, ensuring visual continuity between photo and video campaigns.
- Social & Digital Strategy: Create platform-native content tailored to current social media viewing habits (TikTok, Reels, Shorts), optimizing pacing, framing, and aspect ratios to drive performance.
- Events & Field Work: Independently manage fast-moving on-location shoots, including corporate events, grand openings, and talking-head interviews.
Required Technical Skills:
- Camera & Lighting: Advanced professional proficiency with Mirrorless/DSLR systems, manual camera controls, studio strobes, continuous video lighting, and grip/modifier equipment.
- Software: Expert in Adobe Photoshop and nonlinear editing software (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro).
- Audio Gear: Deep knowledge of field and studio microphone placement, recording, and troubleshooting.
- AI Integration: Experience (or strong willingness to learn) utilizing generative AI and AI-assisted tools for image/video generation, retouching, storyboarding, and workflow automation.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Proven background in commercial, food, CPG, or advertising content production.
- Deep understanding of how to adapt technical and creative choices (lighting, composition, editing style) based on the intended publication method and audience.
- Self-directed and highly adaptable, with a strong pulse on evolving online culture, visual media trends, and emerging content formats.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with culinary and marketing teams while maintaining the capacity to work independently.
