Registered Nurse (PRN) - Paragon Infusion Centers

Job Overview Registered Nurse (PRN) – Paragon Infusion Centers Location: 900 Bob Wallace Ave SW, Suite 122, Huntsville, AL 35801 Shift: Days – 1-5 days per week as needed. Clinic open Monday to Friday. Onsite: This role requires working from the posted locations full‑time, to support face‑to‑face collaboration. Candidates not within a reasonable commuting distance will not be considered unless accommodations are granted. Responsibilities Perform duties within the nurse’s scope of practice, facility policies, INS standards and approved protocols. Administer ordered therapies per prescriber order, facility protocols and company policy. Complete the admission process as directed by the Center Director. Perform physical assessment on each patient as warranted, and refer to the on‑duty NP for a comprehensive assessment when needed. Document all pertinent data and significant changes or observations in the patient’s medical record. Evaluate patient response to therapy and document findings. Educate patients and family members about the therapy plan. Ensure all medication orders are complete, appropriate, accurate and up to date prior to treatment. Adhere to all applicable state, local, and federal laws, regulations and HIPAA confidentiality requirements. Travel to work sites and other locations as necessary. Minimum Requirements ASN or ADN with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Current unrestricted RN license in the applicable state; multi‑state licensure required if providing services in multiple states. Satisfactory completion of a tuberculosis test and HepatitisB vaccine or signed waiver (required for Paragon and Carelon Health business unit). Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experience 2+ years of experience with IV Port, PICC and peripheral line placement. Experience with medication mixing and titration. Ability to travel to multiple locations for clinical coverage. BSN degree. Other Information Job Level: Non‑Management, Non‑Exempt. Workshift: 1st Shift (United States).
