Registered Nurse (RN) - Endoscopy

Albuquerque, NM

Endoscopy RN

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Minimum 1 year RN experience

BLS and ACLS certifications required

Experience with colonoscopies and EGD procedures

Familiarity with sedation medications and monitoring

Previous charge experience preferred

Experience with Cerner charting preferred

Telemetry monitoring skills preferred

Provide direct patient care for adult and geriatric patients undergoing endoscopic procedures

Administer and monitor conscious sedation during procedures

Conduct pre- and post-procedure assessments and care

Start IVs and handle specimens as needed

Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Assist with advanced endoscopic procedures as required

COVID vaccination required with medical/religious exemptions accepted

Flu vaccination required; medical/religious exemptions allowed

Drug screen must be completed within 30 days of start

Parking provided at no fee

Facility will provide scrubs; specific colors may be designated
