We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team.

As a Dental Hygienist at Dr. Bitner, you will play a vital role in promoting oral health and educating patients on preventive dental care. This full-time position involves working closely with our dentists and staff to ensure high-quality service and patient comfort. The ideal candidate will bring a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe dental environment.

Dental hygienist

Conduct patient screenings, including health histories and dental charting.

Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth.

Apply preventative treatments such as fluoride and sealants.

Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventative dental care, and post-treatment instructions.

Assist with infection control protocols including sterilization of instruments and maintaining a clean work area.

Operate dental instruments and equipment such as X-rays and other diagnostic tools.

Document patient information accurately in dental records.

Collaborate with dentists and team members to ensure efficient patient flow.

Maintain compliance with all safety regulations, including CPR and AED protocols.

Support the office environment by adhering to schedules and assisting with patient needs.

full-time $40 - $55 per hour

Wednesday & Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

• Basic life support
• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Experienced Dental Hygienist (1+ years)
• Infection Control License
• Licensed dental hygienist

Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license required.

CPR and AED certifications.

Strong knowledge of dental assisting and infection control protocols.

Familiarity with dental office procedures and medical terminology.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Entry-level applicants with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply.

Prior experience working in a family dental practice.

Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.

Medical terminology proficiency.

Experience with patient education and communication.
