Position Overview We are on the lookout for a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist eager to become part of a dynamic team that is committed to delivering exceptional care. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will perform diagnostic examinations, collaborate with a compassionate group of healthcare professionals, and assist in providing peace of mind to patients through timely and precise imaging. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, clearly explaining each step with kindness and clarity
- Work in close partnership with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic images
- Efficiently operate and maintain imaging equipment, swiftly reporting any malfunctions
- Keep meticulous documentation of procedures and maintain patient records in the electronic medical system
- Stay informed on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program completion is preferred
- Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or its equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
- High proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and effective patient positioning
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
