Sample Maker
Uniform distribution and manufacturing company located in Gardena, CA is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sample Maker to support our production and development team.

Sample Maker Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $ 28.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 04:30pm)
- Construct garment samples from sketches, patterns, and technical specifications
- Interpret and follow detailed instructions to produce accurate prototypes
- Operate and maintain industrial sewing machines and equipment
- Perform high-quality sewing using various stitch techniques
- Conduct steam ironing and finishing of garments to presentation standards
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure sample accuracy
- Identify and troubleshoot construction or fit issues during sample development
Sample Maker Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sample making or garment construction
- Strong knowledge of garment construction and manufacturing sewing operations
- Ability to read and interpret sketches and detailed specifications
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
