Educational and career development options, including tuition and certification reimbursement, scholarship opportunities Staff Safety (a wearable badge that allows nurses to quickly and discreetly call for help when safety is a concern) Differentials for night/weekend shifts, higher education, certifications and various lead roles (for eligible positions) Malpractice liability insurance Loan forgiveness through the New Mexico Higher Education Department EPIC electronic charting system Type of Opportunity: Full time FTE: 1.00 Job Exempt: No Work Shift: Days (United States of America) Responsibilities Adheres to the LPN scope of practice *Administer prescribed medications and treatments, as ordered by provider/Standard of Care Protocol. *Provides patient care in the ambulatory care setting according to established standards in collaboration with Providers, Registered Nurses and Medical Assistants as members of the care team. *Provides primary support to the provider by proactively anticipating the provider needs, preparing the patient for the visit, maintaining efficient patient flow, and assisting with treatments and procedures. *Participates on interdisciplinary team to meet patient care and clinic needs, working cooperatively with others to accomplish required work in a timely and efficient manner. *Assists providers with procedures. *Assists with patient education, within scope of practice by Standard of Care-Education Protocol. *Assists with visit planning, within Health Maintenance Guidelines. *Assist with management, in collaboration with Clinical Manager. *Documents in electronic medical record within scope of practice. *Assists in screening of patients, in collaboration with Care Manager. *Assists Certified Medical Assistants with patient preparation/rooming patients, as directed by visit plan. *Applies Compassionate Connected Care principles and incorporates into care interactions *Interacts effectively with customers, providing instructions and information, both written and verbal, as appropriate. *Maintains established practice policies and procedures, objectives, quality program, safety, environment, and infection control standards. *Seeks help, communicates, and cooperates with Medical Provider and team appropriately. *Meets assigned productivity targets *Performs other functions as required.
