Travel Physical Therapist – Rapid City, SouthDakota Job Summary Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 06/08/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Requirements Must hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy or a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy and have passed the NPTE. Must have graduated from an accredited school. Minimum one year of experience. Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or be in the process of obtaining the license. Current CPR certification. Other requirements may be specified by the client facility. Duties & Responsibilities The Physical Therapist/PT is responsible for assessing referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, providing direct patient care, establishing and administering treatment programs, setting realistic goals, documenting patient progress, and educating patients and families. Key tasks include: Developing plan of care for each patient. Providing skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders. Assessing patient needs, planning, evaluating, and modifying care to meet therapy goals. Collaborating with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
