Description - The Manufacturing Engineer is an experienced professional responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance production capabilities and support product development.

Responsibilities include:

• Design, development, and implementation of manufacturing processes and systems.
• Troubleshooting equipment and process issues.
• Development of process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Analysis of production data to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
• Setup and calibration of manufacturing equipment.
• Participation in continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing and Six Sigma projects.
• Development of manufacturing strategies for specific products and processes.
• Coordination of the release of new products with engineering project teams.
• Estimation and tracking of manufacturing costs, determination of time standards, and recommendations for tooling and process requirements.
• Development and transfer of manufacturing and engineering tools, strategies and systems.
• Maintenance of records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.
• Development, implementation, and analysis of manufacturing engineering plans, projects and communication to internal and external customers.
• Strong project management experience utilizing Microsoft project as a tool to meet timelines and manage resources.

Level/pay for this role will be commensurate with education and experience.

Position Requirements - Bachelors Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field with a minimum of 0-2+ years prior related experience. Associates Degree in Manufacturing Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology Industrial Manufacturing, Mechatronics or related field with 6+ years prior related experience. Requirements are not to be used exclusive of other leveling factors. Substitution of additional relevant education and experience for stated qualifications may be considered. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills Knowledge of automation and process improvement tools. Strong project management skills utilizing Microsoft project.

Preferred Additional Skills: CNC M and G code programming of 4 and 5 axis machines CAD/CAM CNC programming proficiency Grinding / CNC Grinding process set-up and programming
