Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled CT Technologist to operate and maintain CT imaging equipment, perform diagnostic scans, and ensure patient safety. The role involves working closely with medical staff to deliver high-quality imaging services.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct CT scans accurately based on physician orders while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Operate GE CT scanners and other imaging equipment following established protocols.
• Administer contrast media and medications as needed, adhering to safety guidelines.
• Maintain detailed documentation of scans, patient information, and equipment logs.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to interpret imaging results.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, infection control policies, and accreditation requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid CA Radiologic Technologist license with CT certification.
• Have at least 2 years of experience operating GE CT scanners in a clinical setting.
• Possess current certifications such as AHA or ARC CPR/BLS.
• Demonstrate proficiency in patient positioning, scanning techniques, and contrast administration.
• Capable of working independently and adapting to shift requirements.
• Be willing to float to other campuses as needed for shifts.
