About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required. License: Valid nursing license required. Certifications: Relevant certifications preferred. Must-Have: Experience with tracheostomies, endotracheal tubes, and intravenous drips. Description: Respiratory Intermediate Care Unit consisting of a 3:1 stepdown level in the critical care division. Handles fresh tracheostomies, levophed, some stable intubations, mild sedation, and diabetic ketoacidosis. This is a PCU/Stepdown unit designation. Shift is 12 hours overnight with every other weekend and holiday requirements per unit needs. Travelers will be assigned to a home unit; however, staffing is assessed every four hours. Travelers may be floated up to three times per shift as needed. This is a union hospital and travelers float first. Experience with tracheostomies, endotracheal tubes, and intravenous drips is required.
