MedSurg RN Needed for Kingsbury Unit
Kingsbury is a 27-bed medical-surgical unit, caring for inpatients at Cheshire Medical Center with a variety of medical conditions as well as post-operative patients. Patient population is primarily the elderly but can be as young as 18. Common diagnoses include post op ortho, general surgery, ETOH, CHF and pneumonia. RN Patient Ratios: 5:1 LNA Patient Ratios: 3:1 MINIMUM 2YRS OF EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
Shift: 12hr Shifts 36hrs/wk Days 2 Needs Every other weekend Rotating holidays
Required Experience: Minimum of 2 previous travel assignments completed Post-surgical drains Central line care/maintenance Foley insertion G tubes/J tubes/NG tubes/PEG tubes IV medication administration/IV push Wound care O2 therapy
Preferred Experience: Epic Telemetry experience
Required Credentials: NH RN License or Compact License (Proof of State Residency Required) BLS ACLS preferred
