Behavior Technician Helping Children Reach New Goals

Every child learns differently, and every milestone matters. One Step Forward is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide one on one ABA therapy services to children in Jefferson Township, Oak Ridge, and surrounding areas. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with children while helping them develop communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills through individualized ABA programs. What You'll Be Doing Provide direct one on one ABA therapy sessions Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA Run skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs Use evidence based ABA strategies including reinforcement, prompting, shaping, and behavior intervention techniques Support communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills Collect accurate data and complete session documentation Collaborate with supervising BCBAs regarding client progress Why This Role Stands Out $22–$32 per hour based on experience Consistent after school caseloads Ongoing BCBA supervision and support Structured ABA programs with clear expectations Opportunity to continue growing within the field of Applied Behavior Analysis What We're Looking For Experience working with children preferred ABA, Behavior Technician, or RBT experience is a plus Reliable transportation Strong communication and organizational skills Dependable, professional, and motivated This Role Is Great For ABA Therapists Behavior Technicians RBTs Individuals with experience working with children Candidates looking for meaningful part time work in behavioral health About One Step Forward One Step Forward provides individualized ABA therapy services throughout New Jersey.
