Job Summary
This position is for a Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Technologist in Salt Lake City, Utah. The role involves participating in electrophysiology procedures, monitoring and recording hemodynamic data, and providing patient support within a high-acuity environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in health science program from an accredited institution; graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, Respiratory Therapy, or Nursing program; current registration as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES); BLS certification for healthcare providers; ACLS or PALS certification (certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire); minimum two years of invasive cardiovascular technology or electrophysiology experience; proficiency in invasive diagnostic and interventional techniques, hemodynamic recording, interpretation, and clinical procedures; scheduled for 10-hour days, four days per week, with on-call requirements.

• Additional Information: The candidate will assist in procedure room preparation, document patient conditions, operate imaging and monitoring equipment, and mentor junior staff. The role encompasses patient assessment, safety protocols including x-ray generation and safety, quality assurance, staff training, and interventional procedures.
