Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (Travel Contract) Location: Valparaiso, IN Pay Rate: $50/hour Hours: 72 hours bi-weekly Shift: Nights, 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: ASAP Maximum RTO: 1 week Call Requirements: None Floating: Required Blocked Scheduling: Not available Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Valparaiso, Indiana . This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a 30-bed unit with a 5:1 patient ratio, focusing on telemetry, heart failure, and stroke cases. You’ll play a vital role in assessing patients, monitoring telemetry, and documenting care accurately in a fast-paced hospital setting. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care for PCU patients, including telemetry and cardiac monitoring Conduct assessments and document patient progress accurately and efficiently Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Float to other units as needed to support patient care Requirements Licensure & Certifications: Active Indiana RN license (or Compact License) BLS and NIHSS required ACLS required within 6 months of start date Experience: Minimum 2 years of PCU or telemetry nursing experience #J-18808-Ljbffr TEEMA Solutions Group
