(SSQQC). Kettle Cuisine takes the utmost pride in their products and expects each employee to do the same with their work.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAlways adhere to safe working practicesPerform daily checks of area for non-compliance and report them to your supervisorEnsure finished product conforms to specificationsIdentified the pallets to be closed on the report sheetCount cases on a pallet and record the quantity on the report sheetMaterial issue and partial close the pallet on a computer or a scan gunPrint and stick LPN on a pallet and bring to FG cooler or FreezerFollow the company GMP’sAlways ensure clean and tidy production areaReport Downtime to maintenance or supervisor in a timely mannerCommunicate and update all relevant parties of any issues or changes (low yields, etc.)Monitor and action all wasteTake instructions from supervisorsBe respectful of the scheduleAble to work in cold environmentAny other tasks deemed reasonable and requested by managementRequired SkillsAbility to work all scheduled shifts, on timeExcellent interpersonal skills needed for working in a team environmentProven record of accomplishment in safe working practicesManufacturing experience preferred (preferably in the food industry)Experience working in temperature-controlled settingsExperience with perishable itemsDesired SkillsNumeracy skillsComputer skillAble to read and write EnglishAble to drive an electric jack and / or FLTExcellent attention to detailAbility to lift 50 Lbs.Bi-lingual preferredAble to interact and communicate with the supervisors and team membersAmericans with Disabilities ActKettle Cuisine complies with all aspects of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and state disability laws. The listed salary range represents Kettle Cuisine’s good faith estimate for this position and represents the minimum and maximum for new hire salaries for the Lynn, MA location only. Ranges will be reviewed on a regular basis. An employee’s rate of pay within the range is determined by their qualifications, relevant experience, and demonstrated performance over time. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth. The Pallet Closer Associate position is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package and is eligible for the annual discretionary bonus program up to 5%.
