Merideth Nagel and the Legacy Legal Team is seeking a Intake Specialist/Legal Assistant to join our thriving office in Clermont!

Our ideal candidate will have experience working in a law office, is a self-starter, is extremely organized, detail-oriented, and has a positive outlook.

Essential Job Duties:

• Schedule initial consultations for potential new clients.
• Review attorneys calendars daily for changes.
• Provide phone backup to the firms receptionist.
• Draft letters, emails, memos, and other correspondence.
• Organize and prepare outgoing mail for the legal team.
• Copy, scan, file, and E-file legal documents.
• Assemble estate planning documents for clients.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Highly responsible, self-disciplined, and ethical work habits.
• Detail oriented with strong time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility and the ability to handle pressure situations calmly.
• Competent in written and spoken English. Spanish is a plus.
• MS Word, Outlook, and Excel. Experience with Outlook calendar is essential.
• General knowledge of using copy and fax machines, scanners, and mail machines.
