Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 14-week assignment. The ideal candidate will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions that help patients maximize independence, improve functional abilities, and enhance quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Assist patients in improving activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, and self-care skills.
• Recommend and train patients in the use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical outcomes.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding therapy goals and home exercise programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Adhere to professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) License required.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current BLS Certification preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Previous rehabilitation, skilled nursing, post-acute care, or outpatient experience preferred.
