Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. This position requires expertise in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care, as well as the ability to handle a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the endoscopy setting
• Prepare and maintain the endoscopy suite, assist during procedures
• Monitor patient vitals and manage post-procedural care
• Educate patients and families on procedures and aftercare
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to infection control protocols

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in an endoscopy or surgical setting
• Current South Carolina RN license or Compact license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required

Schedule

This position is for the day shift, working five 8-hour shifts from 06:30 AM to 03:00 PM. Weekend coverage is required every third weekend, and there may be on-call requirements.
