Woodlands Market, Marin and San Francisco's premier gourmet grocery store, has an opening for a Hot Case Cook!!
- Produce quality food goods in a consistent standardized manner for the full service case.
- Serve customers from hot case and deli.
- Maintain department cleanliness, organization and all standards of sanitation and safety.
- Maintain quality assurance and consistency of finished products.
- Assist in recognition and communication of perishables as well as supplies for the kitchen to superiors.
- As needed, prepare the storeroom, freezer, and walk-ins for inventory.
Required Skills:
- Culinary training or equivalent (2 years) experience required
- Over 18 years of age
- Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen work flow
- Knowledge of weights and measures
- Able to prioritize work and handle multiple concurrent tasks
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, and lift 20 pounds on a regular basis
