We are seeking dedicated healthcare professionals to join our Labor & Delivery unit. This position requires expertise in maternal and neonatal care, offering a rewarding opportunity to support families during one of the most important times of their lives.

Unit Specific Information

• Number of Beds: 12
• Patient Ratios: 1:2
• Unit Staffing: Registered Nurses, Unit Secretary, OR Technicians
• Documentation System: CPN, Meditach

Scheduling Requirements

• 3 Weekend Shifts
• 1 Call Shift for RNs
• 2 Call Shifts for Technicians
• 3 Twelve-Hour Shifts

Floating Policy

Travelers float to other areas before internal staff.

Patient Experience Requirements

Shared decision-making is essential for fostering patient engagement and satisfaction.

Certifications Required

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• AWHONN Intermediate (not advanced) or CEFM (Credentialing in Electronic Fetal Monitoring)

Qualifications

• Required Experience: 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Advanced Skills: Care of the laboring patient, care of the newborn immediately after delivery, and circulating and recovering C-section patients.

Procedures Performed on Unit

• Vaginal Deliveries
• C-Sections
• D&C (Dilation and Curettage)
• Cerclage
• Epidural Anesthesia
• Tub Labor

Dress Code

Scrubs are not provided. Required colors are Ceil Blue, Navy Blue, or Gray.
