Job Summary:
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Chicago, Illinois. This position involves working day shifts in a reputable healthcare facility with a focus on pediatric critical care. The role requires experienced RNs with a strong background in pediatric intensive care, providing essential patient care within a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: BSN, CPR certification, PALS certification, Illinois permanent nursing license, COVID-19 vaccination documentation with both doses and lot numbers (declinations not accepted), a minimum of 3 years experience as a PICU or Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) Nurse. Previous travel experience is required; this position is not suitable for first-time travelers.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel experience in a PICU setting.
• Responsibilities: Provide specialized pediatric critical care, adhere to hospital protocols, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, starting on 08/10/2026.
• Additional Information: Orientations are scheduled every Monday. Dress code is scrubs of any color, including kid-friendly options. EMR system used is Epic.
• Submission Requirements: IVS to manager.
