Program Supervisor

Position Overview Pay: $12 Pay Class: Full Time Hours: Mon-Fri 7am-3pm / On Call Site Location: Edgecliff - Wichita Falls, TX Requirements: Driver's License Summary Position Type: Full‑time, non‑exempt, hourly supervisor role. Scope of Role: Supervises a single program or unit, typically supporting 4‑8 individuals in residential settings or 10‑15 in periodic, vocational or day programs. Duties are split between direct support, professional or program activities, and supervision. Key Responsibilities Supervise Direct Support Professionals. Oversee day‑to‑day program operations, including delivery of supports, implementation of person‑centered plans, health care, advocacy, customer engagement, regulatory compliance, and physical environment oversight when applicable. Provide direct support for remaining hours in an 8‑16 hour flexible weekly schedule. Services and Supports Direct Support: Works regular scheduled shifts as a direct support professional. Records: Documents required information daily; reviews individual records, billing, and other program documentation for accuracy and completeness. Program Planning: Assists the Program Director in developing individual program plans; trains and monitors implementation across all shifts. Team Meetings: Attends routine progress meetings. Compliance: Assists the Program Director in maintaining licensing compliance and implementing the organization’s compliance plan, including individual rights implementation. Management of Individuals’ Assets: Ensures safety of individual funds and property, monitors spending, and reconciles financial accounts monthly. Incidents: Completes or assists with incident reporting and submits initial reports to the Program Director. Billing and Utilization: Compiles census or attendance data, reviews accuracy, and submits data to the Program Director or billing authority. Health Care General Health Care: Monitors health, documents, and communicates with medical professionals; implements preventive strategies and monitors documentation across all shifts. Appointments: Schedules or assists with health care appointments; may accompany individuals and document visits. Medications: Supports or administers medication, documents delivery, ensures accuracy, and maintains medication security. Medical Supplies and Equipment: Purchases and maintains supplies and equipment in consultation with the Program Director. Dietary Planning: Develops menus, purchases food and supplies, and monitors food service to align with individual plans. Stakeholder Relations Communications: Maintains professional relationships with individuals, families, case managers, and other stakeholders. Customer Service: Implements organization-wide customer service standards and trains staff in delivery. Personnel Recruitment and Hiring: Assists with recruitment and interviews for direct support professionals. Employee Scheduling: Maintains shift schedules to ensure coverage and minimize overtime. Training: Provides onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training; verifies training records are complete. Evaluation: Prepares and conducts annual evaluations for Direct Support Professionals. Discipline and Termination: Coaxes employee performance, provides corrective guidance, and participates in termination decisions. Employee Safety: Ensures safety and monitors workers’ compensation compliance. Management: Leads monthly program meetings, documents agendas and attendance. Financial Management Purchasing: Buys food, household, office supplies, and minor equipment; reviews credit card statements and invoices. Individuals’ Served Funds Management: Safeguards and manages individual funds, updates ledgers weekly, and maintains receipts. Billing and Utilization: Reviews census and attendance for accurate billing and monitors utilization between authorization and service provision. Staffing: Monitors staffing hours for budget compliance. Census Management Census Capture: Captures daily census accurately and promptly. Census Performance: Understands census measurement and performance; escalates service disruptions. Placements: Supports location preparations for expected placements. Maintenance Vehicles: Conducts monthly vehicle inspections, maintains cleanliness, and ensures safe operation. Living Environment: Oversees daily and seasonal housekeeping and lawn care. Maintenance and Repair: Arranges repairs and monitors environmental safety; conducts monthly equipment checks. Equipment: Monitors and repairs wheelchairs, lifts, and safety equipment. Other Performs other duties and activities as required, including backfilling roles under supervision. MPA: Mobile Punch Authorized for timekeeping. Supervisory Responsibilities Manages Direct Support Professionals, including orientation, training, hiring decisions, and performance evaluations. Makes decisions regarding salary changes, discipline, terminations, and resolves employee issues. Minimum Knowledge And Skills Required For The Job Working knowledge of computers. Education And Experience High School diploma or equivalent. One‑year related work experience. Must be 18 years or older. Certificates, Licenses, And Registrations Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance if driving on behalf of the Company or providing transportation. Other licensure(s) or certification(s) required by regulatory authority. Work Environment Runs services or supports in residential, vocational, or in‑home settings. Expected to visit each shift and all employees at least once per month, including supervising periodic or hourly services. Physical Requirements Heavy work: Exertion up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, or 20 pounds constantly to move objects.
