Benefits: Paid Sick Time Paid Federal and State Holidays Paid Vacation 401(k) Training & development About the Role: JEM Treatment, Inc is looking for a friendly and organized Receptionist for our out-patient Methadone Program in Waukegan, IL. where your communication skills and positive attitude will make a real impact every single day. Our hours are Monday through Friday from 5:15am to 1:15pm and Saturdays from 5:45am to 10:45am. We are closed on Sundays. Responsibilities: Greet and welcome patients, and visitors in a warm and professional manner Answer and direct incoming phone calls and inquiries to the appropriate staff Schedule and confirm appointments, managing the front desk calendar efficiently Maintain accurate patient records and data entry using office management software Handle incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and general correspondence Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times Assist all staff with clerical support as needed Urine testing for in-house and send-out specimens Collect payments and assist with insurance verification Other responsibilities as needed Requirements: High school diploma or GED equivalent required Prior receptionist/ front desk preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in computer skills and general office equipment Highly organized with strong multitasking and time management abilities Professional, empathetic, and customer-service-oriented demeanor Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Must possess a valid drives license and reliable transportation Must be able to pass a background check Must be able to pass a drug screening test as required by law Punctuality is a must Working every second Saturday is required About Us: JEM Treatment, Inc is a provider in the Waukegan, IL community, dedicated to delivering compassionate and high-quality care to those we serve.
