Job Overview A leading electronics manufacturer in Hauppauge, NY is seeking an experienced Electronic Test Technician to join a growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician with a background in electronic testing, troubleshooting, and production support to work in a dynamic, technology-driven manufacturing environment. Salary: $52,000 - $72,800 per year Shift: First Work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM Education: High School Responsibilities Perform functional, environmental, and acceptance testing of electronic assemblies and systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and electronic failures to the component level. Construct and evaluate prototype and first-article hardware from schematics and engineering documentation. Support engineering investigations, validation testing, and product qualification efforts. Assemble, modify, and maintain test fixtures, cables, and specialized test equipment. Document test results, failures, corrective actions, and process improvements. Assist in implementing engineering changes and production improvements. Train and mentor junior technicians on testing techniques, troubleshooting methods, and laboratory procedures. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.
