Step into a rewarding school-based opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting preschoolers. The assignment runs from ASAP through May 20, 2027, allowing you to see the impact of your work over the course of multiple academic years.
As part of a supportive educational team, you'll collaborate closely with teachers, families, and fellow specialists to promote communication skills in early childhood. Working with a manageable caseload of 45–55 students, you’ll have the time and resources to provide focused intervention and documentation.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience in pediatric and school-based speech therapy
- Comfort delivering services to preschool students and engaging in early intervention practices
- Strong organizational and communication skills to support IEP processes and parent collaboration
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and speech disorders in preschool-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Offer both direct and consultative speech therapy services within classroom and individual settings
- Maintain timely documentation and progress reports
- Work Monday through Thursday, approximately 30 hours per week, allowing for a refreshing work-life balance
