Work Environment

Located onsite at our modern hospital facility in Monroeville, New Jersey, our therapy department is equipped with state-of-the-art resources to support effective patient care. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work collaboratively with a team of professionals, including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and support staff, within a space designed for optimal patient care. You'll experience a daily schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, fostering a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in executing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
• Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist, using both traditional and innovative equipment.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, noting any changes in condition, and sharing updates and concerns with the supervising PT to adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide thorough education to patients and their families about exercises and at-home care to reinforce progress and ensure continuity of care.
• Engage actively with interdisciplinary teams, contributing to case discussions and patient management strategies to ensure holistic care.
• Maintain clinical documentation and patient records in compliance with facility standards and regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients range from those recovering from surgery, injuries, or chronic conditions to individuals needing preventive care. As part of the clinical team, you will address a variety of physical therapy needs, developing rapport and understanding to effectively support each patient's recovery journey. Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of New Jersey is required.
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited PTA program is mandatory.

• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential to keep track of patient progress and collaborate with staff.

Preferred Experience
