Shipping Associate

We are seeking individuals that have a good work ethic and a desire for continuous learning. Our Shipping department is an essential part of our operation and they strive for perfection. You will get hands‑on training from some of the best in the field. No experience necessary but aquatic life enthusiasts are strongly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities/Duties Work collaboratively with Shipping Managers and teammates to meet the highest standards of animal care Properly collecting and handling all aquatic life for ship out Properly bagging, clipping and boxing orders Quality control of all outgoing shipments Meeting daily deadlines and department goals Maintaining a clean, safe work station Practices good judgment in decision‑making and communicates efficiently to the Shipping Managers when their involvement is necessary. Qualifications/Requirements High School diploma OR equivalent experience is preferred Positive attitude and the ability to communicate in a professional and respectful manner Strong observational skills to ensure quality of shipments Sound judgment and ability to use common sense for effective decision‑making. Ability to work well with a team or as an individual Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, work under pressure, meet deadlines and be able to thrive in a fast‑paced work environment. Good communication skills and attention to detail are essential Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays as required. Ability to lift and carry minimum of 40 pounds, kneel, bend, crouch, squat, and stand for extended periods of time Willingness to perform other duties or assist other departments as needed Valid driver's license is a plus Bilingual (Spanish) is not required but is a plus Compensation There is tremendous potential for growth and career opportunity within our company.
