Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring 4 years of experience and telemetry/IMCU background.

Details

• Med/Surg Tele unit setting with telemetry and IMCU patients
• Patient ratios of 1:5 for Med/Surg patients and 1:4 for IMCU patients
• PM shift schedule, 645p-7a, 3 shifts per week
• 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
• Rotating weekend requirements
• No on-call responsibilities
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum 4 years of nursing experience required
• Telemetry and IMCU experience required
• 2 professional references required
• Flu vaccination required with no exemptions granted

Additional Information

• Navy scrub color required
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
• Local candidates within the radius are not accepted
