Position Summary: The Bakeoff Assistant is responsible for supporting the Baker in preparing and showcasing a variety of baked goods. Demonstrates knowledge in baking recipe execution, and decoration, ensuring all items meet customer preferences and store standards. Works closely with the Baker to ensure fresh daily inventory and uphold strict food safety and sanitation guidelines. What You Will Bring High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred 1-3 years of experience in bakeoff, retail, or food service/prep Strong oral and written communication skills Commitment to providing excellent customer service Attention to detail Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. Must meet minimum age requirements in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Fast-paced retail grocery store. Frequent interaction with customers and team members.
