Bathing Brands is expanding its portfolio of consumer-facing sauna, steam, and wellness brands, and we’re looking for a Social Media Specialist to bring structure, consistency, and creativity to our organic social presence.

Our Social Media Specialist will manage multiple brands and audiences, develop content strategies, and turn existing photography and video into engaging, platform-native content. This is a great opportunity for an agency-trained or in-house social media professional who enjoys both the strategic and hands-on sides of social.

You’ll own organic social strategy, content planning, publishing, community management, reporting, and optimization, while partnering with our broader creative and marketing teams for more complex production needs.

Important Notes : This is a hybrid position and requires the ability to work from our Wheeling, Illinois office each week. As our Social Media Specialist, you will:

• Develop organic social strategies and content calendars across multiple brands.
• Translate product launches, promotions, business priorities, and brand positioning into effective social content.
• Own weekly publishing schedules and maintain a consistent flow of content across platforms.
• Write and refine captions, hooks, calls to action, and platform-specific copy.
• Create lightweight social content from existing photography and video, including reels, stories, basic edits, crops, and simple text overlays.
• Manage scheduling, posting, tagging, and quality control across social channels.
• Monitor comments, messages, mentions, and conversations, responding in the appropriate brand voice and routing questions or leads as needed.
• Track performance and provide monthly reporting with actionable insights and recommendations.
• Test content approaches, formats, captions, posting times, and other variables to improve performance.
• Partner with designers, videographers, copywriters, product teams, sales, and other stakeholders to identify and develop content opportunities.
• Repurpose product footage, lifestyle photography, training content, partner assets, and other existing materials for social use.

What You Bring

• 3–6 years of professional organic social media experience, preferably managing multiple brands or accounts.
• Experience owning social strategy, content calendars, publishing, community management, reporting, and optimization.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and short-form video platforms and formats.
• Experience creating reels, stories, and other social content using existing photo and video assets.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to adjust tone across different brands and audiences.
• Ability to turn analytics into practical recommendations and content improvements.
• Excellent organizational and project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple active content calendars.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with creative and business teams.

Experience That Would Set You Apart

• Agency experience managing multiple client accounts or brands.
• Experience in wellness, fitness, home, lifestyle, luxury, or durable consumer products.
• Familiarity with tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later, Buffer, Meta Business Suite, CapCut, Canva, Adobe Express, or similar platforms.
• Experience supporting brands at different stages of growth.
• Familiarity with social listening, influencer content, user-generated content, and organic lead generation.
