Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to be part of an exceptional imaging team providing high-quality care. You will utilize advanced ultrasound technology to perform critical diagnostic procedures, work alongside a knowledgeable group of healthcare professionals, and play a vital role in reassuring patients through precise and compassionate imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations including, but not limited to, abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all procedures, communicating each phase with empathy and ease
• Collaborate seamlessly with radiologists and referring physicians to produce the highest-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, flagging any issues to ensure optimal function
• Document imaging procedures accurately and keep detailed patient records in the electronic medical system
• Stay informed on the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging and best practice strategies

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is desired

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed
