Sonographer - PRN

Seeking a PRN Sonographer responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients, producing high-quality images for interpretation. Responsibilities Include Setting up and adjusting equipment, maneuvering transducers, and performing routine and complex studies. Ensuring safety standards, quality control, and proper equipment functioning. Capturing and submitting images promptly to PACS with accurate labeling and patient data. Maintaining a clean, organized department and complying with regulations. Recognizing structures, artifacts, and pathology, and reporting issues. Performing other departmental duties as needed. Qualifications Completion of a Sonography program. Certification as a registered sonographer with two or more ARDMS registries (e.g., ABD/OB, MSK, BR, FE, RVS, RMSKS, RDCS). Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification. Physical ability for constant standing, walking, lifting, and repositioning patients and equipment. Key Skills Technical proficiency in ultrasound equipment and procedures. Attention to detail, safety consciousness, and ability to recognize abnormalities. Effective communication and teamwork skills.
