Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a fulfilling contract position supporting student communication and success as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Enjoy a manageable caseload—well below the state maximum of 60 students—allowing you to focus on providing individualized, high-quality services. This role is located onsite and will span from August 17, 2026, through June 23, 2027, with a steady schedule of 37.5 hours per week.

In this dynamic school-based environment, you'll partner closely with educators and other support staff to provide comprehensive speech and language services to students. Your work will include evaluations, implementing and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), documentation, and active participation in multi-disciplinary teams.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Michigan SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experience delivering services in a K-12 school setting strongly preferred
  • Proficient in conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations
  • Skilled in IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
  • Strong communicator who collaborates effectively with staff, students, and families
  • Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional growth

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct direct and indirect therapy for students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Perform assessments and participate in eligibility determination
  • Develop treatment plans and document progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support personnel to support student achievement
  • Act as an advocate for students’ speech and language needs within the educational setting
