You will combine deep technical knowledge with instructional expertise to own major training initiatives within the business line. This role requires the drive to rapidly learn new systems and translate complex technical concepts into scalable learning solutions that accelerate workforce readiness.Training Program Development & DeliveryEnd-to-End Training Frameworks: Design comprehensive training frameworks and curricula that span from onboarding through advanced technical proficiency for Tech Ops engineersCurriculum Design: Translate complex systems into scalable learning artifacts including runbooks, SOPs, work instructions, and troubleshooting guidesTraining Delivery: Conduct hands-on technical training across diverse products and systems, adapting instructional methods to learner needs and operational contextsProficiency Standards: Set training priorities, proficiency thresholds, and certification standards that ensure operational readinessTechnical Mastery & Continuous LearningRapid System Acquisition: Demonstrate the drive and capability to quickly learn new products and systems, developing sufficient expertise to effectively train othersDeep Technical Knowledge: Maintain expertise across hardware, software, networking, and operational procedures to deliver credible, field-informed trainingSubject Matter Expertise: Serve as a technical resource for training-related questions, bridging gaps between engineering knowledge and operational applicationContinuous Content Updates: Stay up to date of any product changes, field insights, and emerging technologies to ensure training remains current and relevantKnowledge Management & DocumentationDocumentation Leadership: Produce and maintain clear, well-structured technical documentation, training materials, and reference guidesKnowledge Architecture: Design knowledge management systems that capture institutional knowledge and prevent single points of failureStandards Development: Establish documentation standards and training artifacts that are adopted across teams and programsLessons Integration: Incorporate real-time field insights and After Action Reviews into training updates to ensure content reflects operational realitiesGap Analysis & Process ImprovementCapability Assessment: Identify systemic capability gaps across the workforce and design training solutions that scale with new products and processesData-Driven Training: Conduct gap analyses to develop targeted, data-driven training plans that address specific skill deficienciesTraining Metrics: Track and measure workforce readiness and performance uplift to demonstrate training program effectivenessProcess Innovation: Refine training frameworks and delivery methods for scalable, repeatable success across diverse learner populationsCross-Functional Collaboration & InfluenceSME Partnership: Collaborate with other subject matter experts, engineering teams, and sustainment engineers to develop effective training contentStakeholder Engagement: Work with Engineers, Deployment Ops, and Mission Ops to align training programs with operational prioritiesMentorship & Development: Mentor Tech Ops engineers on technical concepts, troubleshooting approaches, and operational best practicesField Integration: Incorporate real time field insights from deployments, demos, and T&E events into training updates; provide onsite support when neededRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience in technical field operations, deployed software engineering, or technical hands-on operational rolesProven track record of becoming a Subject Matter Expert on a system and sharing that knowledge with othersComfortable delivering training to groups and individuals at varying skill levelsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to rapidly learn complex technical systemsWillingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally for training delivery and field supportEligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret or Top Secret security clearance and support operations involving sensitive materialsAbility to support the handling and working with munitionsAbility to meet health and medical requirements in advance of deployments in accordance with DFARS View phone number on click.appcast.io, DoDI 3020.41, and/or any additional requirements outlined by region or supporting force, as applicablePreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Software, Technology or related technical field;
