Hours for this position are 6:00pm-4:30am. The Palletizer makes an impact by:

• Handling food in various forms and placing onto clean, damage free pallets.
• Monitoring in accordance to SOP and/or MBR the date of packaging code.
• Assisting forklift operator with wrapping and labeling pallets.
• Handling each product in a food safe manner preventing contamination or foreign matter for entering finished product.
• Ensuring the packaging is clean and ready for sale of finished goods before palletizing.
• Through a good working knowledge of inventory locations, inventory sizes, types, pallet counts and patterns, assisting in the transfers of materials throughout the material handling process chain.
• Tasks include housekeeping, general sanitation and product quality assessment responsibilities throughout the palletizing process.
• Maintaining the integrity of the quality system.
• Being engaged in the day-to-day running of the business by performing tasks beyond normal/baseline job responsibilities, participating in team or business improvement meetings and initiatives positioned toward improving business results.

• Maintain adherence to work hours scheduled specifically starting, ending, lunch and break schedules
• Perform all duties within established Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations and safety guidelines
• Be accountable to the Turkey Hill Food Safety and Quality Principles
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Physical Demands:

• The employee is required to talk and/or hear in a manufacturing setting where noise levels are high (PPE required).
• The employee is required to wear mandated PPE based on assigned job area.
• The employee is frequently required to stand and walk in a manufacturing environment for 8+ hours.
• The employee must be able to ascend and descend stairs, and where applicable and when necessary, to perform various job-related tasks.
• Must be able to position self to move, reach with arms/hands, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed to perform various job-related tasks.
• The employee must be able to inspect all job-related equipment (office or floor) to ensure it is in good working condition prior to use. Must be able to use hands/fingers to handle (or feel) to operate various types of office equipment.
• Must be able to operate all job-related equipment (powered, hand or office) as required.
• Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and adjust focus.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and/or push/pull 50 pounds on a regular basis.
