- Provide a fun and engaging experience for students.
- Become trained, and certified in delivering our lessons program
- Keep internal lessons progress notes
- Prepare students for community performances and school performances
- May prepare students for competitions as BSMA rep, or for special auditions.
- Will teach small groups and bands weekly (recurring group class pay rate is higher than range listed)
- Prefer Bachelor's degree in Music Education or related field
- Solid Violin performance experience and teaching ability - across multiple genres
- Reliable attendance history
- Ability to create a warm, engaging, and encouraging music learning experience in 1-on-1 and group settings
- Must pass background test, showing suitability to teach children
- Can work independently, and be directed occassionally
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organized
- Ideally 2+ years' experience teaching music to ages 4 to Adult.
