Responsibilities for Social Media Specialist:

• Create, write, edit, and schedule engaging content for Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and emerging social platforms.
• Turn photos, videos, testimonials, patient success stories, employee spotlights, resident experiences, clinical programs, events, and healthcare services into engaging social content.
• Develop attention-grabbing hooks, captions, headlines, calls to action, and platform-specific messaging.
• Identify opportunities for Reels, short-form video, trending content, and creator-style storytelling.
• Support campaigns focused on brand awareness, recruitment, community engagement, clinical programs, and healthcare services.
• Manage and schedule a high volume of daily social media content across multiple brands and communities.
• Track social media submissions from receipt through publication and maintain accurate content calendars.
• Maintain accurate social profiles, branding, links, and business information.
• Monitor social media channels and respond to comments, messages, and community interactions promptly and professionally.
• Support online reputation management, including monitoring and responding to Google and other online reviews according to client guidelines.
• Use social media analytics and reporting tools to monitor follower growth, engagement, publishing activity, and key performance metrics.
• Identify top-performing content and provide recommendations to improve engagement, reach, audience growth, and digital performance.
• Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, short-form video, AI-assisted content creation, and healthcare and senior living marketing trends.
• Collaborate with marketing team members and communities to ensure content is accurate, timely, relevant, and on-brand.

Qualifications for Social Media Specialist:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field.
• Three or more years of professional social media experience, preferably in a corporate, agency, healthcare, multi-location, hospitality, or similarly fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of social media strategy, content development, community management, and platform best practices.
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong creative eye and understanding of what makes digital content engaging.
• Experience managing multiple brands, priorities, deadlines, and content requests simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Curiosity, initiative, and enthusiasm for testing new ideas, trends, and technology.
• Experience with Hootsuite, Canva, Monday.com, CapCut, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn, short-form video editing tools, and social media analytics platforms is strongly preferred.
