This role provides strategic leadership for the accounting function and partners closely with executive leadership to deliver insights that support business performance and long-term growth. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Controls · Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. · Establish, maintain, and strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assets and en‑sure financial integrity. Accounting Operations · Lead all core accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable and re‑ceivable, fixed assets, and revenue recognition. · Ensure consistency, accuracy, and scalability of accounting processes and systems. Month‑End Close · Drive a timely and efficient month‑end close process. · Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve accuracy, and reduce close time‑lines. Compliance & Audit · Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and regulatory accounting and reporting re‑quirements. · Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and manage all audit activities. Budgeting & Forecasting · Support the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts. · Analyze budget‑to‑actual variances and provide clear explanations and insights to leader‑ship. Tax & Cash Flow Management · Oversee corporate tax compliance and coordinate with external tax advisors. · Monitor cash flow, assist with banking relationships, and investment activity, providing recommendations to leadership as needed. Strategic Leadership · Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and documentation. · Collaborate with the FP&A team on forward‑looking financial analysis and modeling to support strategic planning and executive decision‑making. People Leadership · Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a high‑performance and ac‑countability‑driven culture. · Build scalable team structures and processes aligned with company growth. Qualifications Education · Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting required. · CPA, CMA, and/or MBA strongly preferred. Experience · 10+ years of progressive accounting experience. · Several years of experience in an accounting leadership or management role. · Experience with percent of completion (POC) method of accounting required. · Experience working with or within private equity (PE)-backed organizations strongly preferred. · Experience recording (purchase accounting) and integrating acquisitions strongly pre‑ferred. · Experience with international accounting (i.e., Mexico), consolidation and reporting pre‑ferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities · Deep knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. · Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite or similar). · Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools. · Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and analytical skills. · Ability to manage remote staff. · Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. · Proven ability to partner effectively with executive leadership and cross‑functional teams. · May require occasional travel (i.e., less than 10%). $150,000 - $175,000 a year Benefits 401(k) + company match Health, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance Unlimited PTO Professional development assistance Bonus opportunities Supportive, growth‑oriented team environment Why Join ANS?
