Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and formulate suitable treatment strategies. \n
- Design and implement personalized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience enhancement, utilizing various therapeutic techniques. \n
- Deliver evidence-based interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) tailored to individual patient needs. \n
- Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering an environment where patients can share their experiences and develop effective coping strategies. \n
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic care for patients, ensuring comprehensive support. \n
- Offer crisis intervention services and appropriate support during trauma-related emergencies to aid in patient stabilization and recovery. \n
- Provide educational resources to patients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping strategies, and support systems in place. \n
- Maintain accurate, confidential patient documentation consistent with legal and ethical guidelines. \n
- Engage actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities centered around trauma-informed care practices. \n
- Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continuously enhance treatment efficacy. \n
You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, dissociative disorders, and other trauma-related conditions. This role is particularly impactful as you will help patients navigate their healing journey, develop coping mechanisms, and rebuild a sense of safety and control in their lives.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in areas such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential. \n
- Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia is required. \n
- Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies is essential for success in this position. \n
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy. \n
- Ability to remain composed and effective in high-pressure, crisis situations. \n
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications relevant to the role. \n
- Experience collaborating within a multidisciplinary team framework is highly valued. \n

- At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical mental health setting is preferred, ideally with a focus on trauma therapy. \n
- Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions is a significant asset. \n
This position offers a competitive salary range between USD 80,000 and USD 104,000 annually.
