Schedule 1st Shift Flexible hours, typically between 6:30 AM and 4:00 PM Occasional flexibility may be required based on operational needs Compensation & Benefits $80,000 - $90,000 annual salary (based on experience) Competitive benefits package Direct hire opportunity What You'll Do Lead all facility safety programs and initiatives. Develop, implement, and maintain workplace safety policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with OSHA and other applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations. Conduct safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations. Develop and deliver employee and supervisor safety training programs. Partner with department leaders to proactively identify and mitigate workplace hazards. Maintain safety records, documentation, and compliance reporting. Monitor regulatory changes and implement updates as needed. Assist with emergency preparedness and response planning. Promote a positive and proactive safety culture throughout the organization. Supervise and mentor members of the Safety Department. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health & Safety, Safety Engineering, or a related field required. Minimum of four years of management experience in industrial safety and employee training. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards. Experience with 5S, 5 Why (5Y), and VPP certification processes preferred. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Strong ability to work collaboratively with employees and leadership at all levels of the organization. Work Environment This position is based in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. Candidates must be comfortable working in and around a foundry setting, including exposure to: High temperatures and varying environmental conditions Moving machinery and industrial equipment Loud noise levels Airborne particles and manufacturing processes Physically demanding production areas The ideal candidate will be comfortable spending time on the production floor and taking a hands-on approach to promoting workplace safety and employee engagement.
