Job Duties

• Craft Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create tailored therapy strategies that help them reach their personal goals.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to help improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily activities.
• Collaborate with Multi-disciplinary Teams: Work side-by-side with OTRs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver well-rounded, holistic care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their families on therapy techniques to encourage ongoing progress at home.
• Track and Record Patient Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure continuous progress.

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Continuing education or post-graduate certifications encouraged and supported.

Required Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required.
