Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Position

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and physically capable CNA to support medically fragile students in a high school classroom environment. This position involves providing essential health services and hands-on care to ensure students can safely access their education.

What You'll be Doing:

• Provide daily personal care assistance including toileting, oral suctioning, and transferring students safely (must be able to lift up to 100 lbs).
• Respond to emergency medical situations under the supervision of licensed personnel (e.g., allergic reactions, nausea, seizures, shortness of breath, dizziness, etc.) to meet immediate health needs.
• Dispense prescribed medications as directed by a licensed health care provider (such as a school nurse or physician).
• Maintain accurate student health records including medication logs, injury/illness reports, and accident documentation to comply with state and federal regulations.
• Monitor and manage the inventory of health supplies, ensuring essential items are stocked and reordered as needed.

What We Offer:

• Salary: $22.71-27.24 per hour
• Working days: 5 days per week
• Hours per day: 6.5

What You'll Need:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Job related experience is desired.
• License: Certified Nurses Aid Certificate, CPR/First Aid, Valid Driver's License

Work Environment:

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some climbing and balancing, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and some fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 34% sitting, 33% walking, and 33% standing. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and in a generally hazard free environment.
