Assist patients in improving functional abilities, self-care skills, mobility, and home safety. Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment. Accurately document patient progress and treatment outcomes. Communicate effectively with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members. Travel throughout the Townsend, Dover, and Frederica service areas to provide patient care in the home setting. Required Education and Experience: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification Licensed or eligible for licensure as a COTA in the State of Delaware Current BLS certification or ability to obtain upon hire Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to meet HomeHealth travel requirement Previous HomeHealth experience preferred, at least one year of work experience as a COTA required Join a Team That's Caring for Our Communities If you are passionate about helping patients remain independent and thrive in their homes, we encourage you to apply and become part of ChristianaCare's award-winning HomeHealth team. Hourly Pay Range: $24.33 - $36.50 This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
